Go into the Bios when the system boots and set the CD as the first boot device

I have a brand new installation of server 2000 and when I open explorer it opens for about 3 seconds then immediately closes. Any ideas

As soon as I open explorer (file manager) it immediately closes and resets. This is a brand new build of server 2k. Any ideas
