try this work around solution given on cnet for a fax program with window vista home premium. http://www.cnet.com/forums/discussions/free-fax-for-vista-326066/ itsa free application from USRobotics (http://www.usr.com/bvrp/bvrp.asp?loc=frnc) which was simple to use.
