Does anyone have the procedure for creating Desktop Icons for “Computer Shutdown
Using Win XP Pro, can the 'FileView' be locked in so that the view always shows 'Details' on Windows Explorer. :o
On Win XP Pro, all of the Desktop Icons suddenly disappeared. Now I when I drag an Shortcut to the Desktop, it won't stick.
Installed ECS Elitegroup Mobo with VIA PT800CE-A chipset and 3.0 ghz P4 CPU. Sometimes , but not always, on startup I have to access the BIOS and manually search for the HDD. This can occur on cold starts and on restarts. Any clue as to why this happens?
Recently, when I enter a numerical value such as 1234, on a worksheet it enters the cell as 12.34 even when the cells have been formated to zero decimal places. If I enter 123400, the vlaue becomes 1234. Help... Ed
7/5/2004 I tried to re-install Windows XP Home Edition over the same existing, and operational, Win XP. The procedure proceeds through ‘Collecting Information’, ‘Dynamic Update’, ‘Preparing Installation’ and ‘Installing Hardware’. At the ‘Installing Windows step, it launches into Scan Disk and restarts the installation all over, and over, and over. …
