I have forgotten my bios password on my dell latitude c600. how can i retrieve it or reset it?

when i turn it on it posts and then i get a message saying RESUME FAILURE PRESS ANY KEY TO CONTINUE i then press any key and nothing happens also i cant get into the bios from startup.ANY INFO WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED.
