an excellent product it pointed out a shortage of sdram on my computer, amongst other things.
you could have a problem as USB will take an interrupt out of your system and you may not have a free one. if you have PCI IRQ steering things should be alright. if not look at COM or LPT ports you disable to recover an interrupt.it might help.

try a boot from the floppy as you don't appear to be loading all of your drivers.
From the bootdisk run fdisk if it's ok at the prompt type sys c: and/or copy *.* c: Hopefully this might get you back to normal.

I presume you have checked your cmos and set the dvd/r to slave. Plug in board-slave-master.
