The google toolbar used to be nice, but it's now been pretty much included in the browser. Extensions I like: the British dictionary, google images relinker, IE tab, stumbleupon, web developer. The extension Skype installs occasionally comes in handy. Should really get Adblock... :P
lol, I have 48 left... I actually gave one to someone who wanted the box.... I think that the invites is just a ploy to get everyone to use it because it is "exclusive". I don't really use my gmail - it's extremely spammed for some reason. Is it the …
Well, in an abstract way users like the software that does what they want, for as little money as possible. The more features that are percieved as useful, the more money ppl will pay. Me, if I can get what I want as freeware, then that'll do. I'm not so …
I'm having the same issue. On logon it sometime crashes, but seems fairly happy at lower resolutions (tho not sure on my windows account - reinstalling of windows and the chkdsk that I was around for it was fine - tho it did go into standby with a permanence during …

My PC has problems booting sometimes, as of recently. It gets past the BIOS stage, but then I just have a flashing cursor in the top-left. I have tried removing: All USB devices HD IDE and floppy cables The new PCI card I had, and sent back, as I thought …
I have the same problem - at first I thouht it was my HDs being too hot, but then it won't boot when cold either (I left it off overnight, still had the problem) Anyone can help on that? Use something like SpeedFan to monitor temperatures - one of my …
Sounds like a processor overheating to me - mine did that when the fan clip broke, on my P4. If you enter BIOS, there should be a menu like PC health status that can tell you how hot the processor is, and how hot it is before it turns off. …

Nice stuff in ur sig, but not very attractive to the average surfer, and it can be comapacted by far. U need a link with a catchy title. Looks like u can use HTML around here, so u could make the links into short and snappy catchphrases instead of messes.
Hi helloimtim, I have a Dell, windows XP machine. I have run Norton anti-virus and it did not find any errors. I was on the net not doing anything exciting and when I closed the internet window there was an icon " hs_err_pid3704" on my desktop that was not there …

Yeah, I tend not to rely on one source - sometimes one site may say it's the best product ever, whilst others may say the product is not so great. What would be best if u can find somewhere that can demo the prodcut.
you mean in the task tray? It should be there automatically, check that Windows hasn't hidden it, by clicking on the < arrow. From the top of my head I don't know if u can completely suppress it, but it only appears when u have an external device plugged in.
The End.
