To solve problem of Unidentifed Network; re-install your wireless pci card driver for vista.(Install the default one which comes with cd then update it from control panel.) To solve local only, setup Service Pack 1 for Vista, update your router's firmware.

I had the same problems. If you didn't have connection problem with other operation system, that mean's you are in trouble with windows vista. But you can solve the problem as I did. Setup Service Pack 1 of Vista and update your router's firmware. Best Regards

It is a general connection problem of Windows Vista and the causes of an error in winsock , bind() function. And the happy new, the error fixed with new updates in Service Pack 1.
