Super mario karts was and still is great. :P I spend like 4 hours at my computer max really. Once I spent like 24 hours watching DVDs though. My family were all gone for a weekend so I took advantage of exclusive widescreen access. :P

I'd recommend getting spyware search and destroy also. Within that there's options to immunise IE against lots of spyware and to prevent spyware from changing the homepage.
Click User CP in the menubar below the techtalkforums.com banner, then click user options and scroll down a bit and there's a selection box under a title about subscriptions or something like that. Then select 'No subscriptions' or whatever it says. That what you wanted?

A google search for "badframes.stt" came up with a lot of results about Winamp and something called vp6. If you have winamp 5 or 5.01 that creates them and if you upgrade to 5.02 that should solve the problem. If you don't have winamp, then I donno what the problem …
My computer freezes up whenever I try to view the contents of any DVD-R disks. They used to work fine a few months ago. Normal DVDs work. I don't know what's changed since then. I did install Alchohol 120% but removed it because I never used it, I don't know …
