have you connected it on an external monitor?if it works on external monitor then you have to check the inverter and the CCFL.
on toshiba sattelite 6100 the amber leds blinking means that there is a problem with power voltage so first of all make sure your power adapter is ok,it has to supply 15 volts.(best thing is to try with a known good adapter)then you have to open the case of laptop …
