I have used both and I have to say that VB is worth the money you have to shell out. It has advanced features compared to any version of phpbb.
what are your thoughts on original content vs. imported content?
Has anyone had success paying people for their avatar/sign. space to promote their site?
spamming is a mass posting - so do you think you get the same negative effects if you were to do self promoting posts that are on topic?
My problem is opposite of most - I know how to build online communities; however, i am having problems reaching those who need it. Any suggestions?
it is all about the content - try building up a nice forum by importing external feeds.
What if forums could host their feeds so others could subscribe to their feeds (regardless of forum software) - basically linking forums together?
