I have a digital downloads store running on OScommerce and love it. Out of the box it's crap for SEO and downloads, but with a few mods it does the job very well. Not sure exactly what you need, but might be one to look in to.

For me, I don't risk my site, traffic and ranks by using tools such as that. I guess I am odd and do things by hand. It's worked for me for a long time and more natural looking to the Search Engines.

You should also have an RSS feed if you don't already and submit it to RSS directories.

I am with the rest, I've done better with html pages myself. Also, as you already mentioned your going to do, I've rewrote dynamic pages into html, pretty easy task.
