use another pc to download the latest version of IE, then uninstall IE from the computer u are repairing, then go to program files and delete the internet explorer folder. then after that Install IE again. or you could just use a difrent browser like opera or firefox.
Try re-installing windows instead of repairing. also try setting the settings in the bios to default.
just use safe mode and disable avg 8.5 by typing msconfig at the run command or use sytem restore from within safe mode. hope this helps
If you can get into windows, click start- run, type in diskpart. if you don't know how to use diskpart google it but im sure it wont be a problem for u, u can fix ure disk and flash disks with this build in utility.
click start run type in \\IP of the xp machine.
