Manual backlinking is much better as it gives much better result for long run.
Crome is the latest browser according to user, but i can not use it, after installation there arise a problem. i don't know if it need to any cofigure. please help me if you have any idea about this.

Alexa ranking is based on the no of visitors site is getting with alexa installed on them. Alexa ranking mainly increse due to asian traffic as far as i know. Didn't did much research on that.
Directory submission, forum posting are good way to promote any site. Butr quality content is the main thing.If you have it then you will get good user's.
