try this, pop the driver cd or floppy into the proper drive and go into the device manager and manually update the driver by letting it search thru the cd or floppy. i used to have this prob sometimes with my old modem.

might want to try this as well, restart your computer, then try to delete the file.
you shuold be able to just put the stick into the USB port and windows should recognize it on it's own. then go to my computer~> and there should be an icon for the memory stick. double click it to open it and see the files.

yea you should be able to just use nero to burn stuff. the software that came bundled with your burner might be the problem.

you should be able to run norton during the bootup process of windows. put the cd-rom in the drive an bootup your computer, then follow the on screen instructions.
