Interesting question. I think it's situational. If the blog adds value, I'll usually keep reading it. If I can get the same value from a witty and well-written blog elsewhere, I'll switch. Value to me could be anything from a great source of information to a good laugh.

I'm afraid our guesses are as good as yours. The master password is set by the administrator when the machine is first installed. If you happen to have administrator access to the machine I can walk you through resetting the master password. Otherwise, things get a bit more complicated.
