I m pretty sure, software companies that hire you , train you before they assign projects to you. That way you ll be given a training that will suit your project !

I would not recommend acer to you mate. Seriously they are near the bottom in my list. I would suggest mac for you but i any case if you want a PC that runs windows, go for HP or Sony.

Image processing is a great domain to actually do a project in. For some really crazy ideas, look into international conferences and see if you can get a twisted idea from them !

There are few scripts available for this mate. Depends from where the products come. I would personally set up this kind of site with wordpress and integrate a custom made shopping cart button

I guess you are from India for thats where you get paid this stuff. How big and how good is your company ? Depends on the scale of your company mate. IMO I would suggest you to take it up only if you do not have any offers at hand …
