Windows 7 delete characters in editor very slow

Strange problem just started on a Windows 7 Ultimate laptop. Create a new document and start typing - all goes well and response is good. Characters can be typed quickly and appear immediately. Try to delete characters in either direction using Backspace or Delete and the character deletes right away …

Hi DX2700 has SATA drives and Windows 2003 Server doesn't have the drivers built in. You need to get a driver for the controller in your system (probably Intel chipset) and load that using F6 while running through setup. HP will probably supply only XP drivers so you may need …
