I always disregard forum signatures as a way to increase rankings. I may have to go back and double check it. I am assuming the forum you use is has follow attributes to your links?

i would go with social bookmarking because it fast generating visitors as well as quicker crawling

Have you tried to validate it? A lot of times there are errors you can't fix, there are also usually a lot you can. Could make a difference. Check out the links about validation in my sig below.
