I think its a great too to increase forum activity.
Content is king, you'll need to get content on your site so people have a reason to come to your site.

It could be just a way of marketing his site. Doesn't say much except to come back in 5 days.
Do you mean the price that you want to charge users to advertise on your web site or the price that you want to pay to bring users to your web site?
Try targeting the keywords better, for example if you sell nike shoes on your web site the keyword shoes would cost more and bring you less targeted traffic then say nike shoes or a make of nike shoes. Targeted keywords would also cost less.
