Personally I would download the seagate hdd tools [url]http://www.seagate.com/www/en-us/support/downloads/seatools[/url] and check the drive - lets make sure that the drive is fully working before spending time trying to fix your computer. All instructions are on the site. GL Flyingdoc

while i dont disagree with anything on rik's post I would at least think about replacing the psu (relatively cheap) before binning the whole computer. Your local computer shop will be able to provide you with a suitable one for not very much money
