I do not get it. Your post title is about transfering IDE to SATA but you discussed about how to connect a SATA drive.
Did you tried changing the monitor refresh rate from the display properties option? Also try degauss, anyway.

Well thanks for the advice, i was looking for a webcam with a built in mic.
