I can suggest Firefox as an alterntaive to IE and it will stop popups and has a download manager. Yes you should always have the most current IE, for secutiry reasons even if you dont use it.

You could try running with gentoo (about as light and extensible as it comes). But realiticly for hosting downloads you might be better off milking a cheap hosting account from somewhere in the WWW. I believe ASmallOrange has some good pure bandwidth plans that will allow you to host static …
yea you could get vbulliten but i recomend phpbb its better in my opinion and its free
I personally cannot attest to phpBB being better in any respect besides directly costing less, otherwise, its not a fair comparsion, phpBB2 is years old, when compared to vB2/3/3.5

If you don't like IE5:Mac don't use it, get Firefox, and it should handle everything fine. To uninstall WMP, drag the app to the trash :)

http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/categories/systems/xbox360/ So It seems that the rumors that MS would be raising the prices were misconcived. But to be honest even for 700 USD thats ALOT of extras to go around. Looking forward to getting one, one way or another,.

Don't use the usb port to hook it up? If you use the ethernet card you shouldn't need a driver unless it has some PPOE software. then your SOL it seems.

Then you don't have the specific codec that the asf file was coded in. You can try VideoLan or the k-lite codec pack, both can be found on google :)

I suggest installing to the standard IDE harddrive, and not to the SATA drive. You can't use RAID 0+1, you don't have enough drives. When the windows installer starts it asks for secondary drivers, you can press f6 and load a floppy disk and it will be able to get …

Check the bios ;) Thinking more, are you sure that the system can even handle a drive that large? Older machines have problems with large format drives.

I'm on the ATI bandwagon, but I've expirenced nothing but pain from the XP 64 builds, I'd suggest backing down to WinXP Pro untill the 64 bit line of XP has more ready drivers.

Honestly? My mini has to be the quietest computer I've ever owned.. my main tower puts out alot of noise... Try looking for small form factor cases, and remember, less noise means less airflow, which means more heat.
